Demonstrate your organisation's focus on education and pathways to meaningful employment - join a growing movement!

By becoming an organisational member of Refugee Education Australia, you can show your commitment to social impact, inclusion and equity.

Who is this membership for?
This membership is designed for organisations who work with newly or recently arrived refugees and people seeking asylum. It's an ideal fit for settlement service providers, advocacy organisations, and community-led networks who share REA's vision and dedication to making a difference for students who have experienced forced migration.

What are the benefits?
Organisational membership offers a dual benefit: building capacity in your staff, raising awareness of education pathways, entry requirements, and pathways to meaningful employment, and strengthening your organisation's mission.

Benefits for your staff
Your organisation can nominate up to 10 employees to enhance their understandings, knowledge, and practices for working with students with forced migration experience. This can be done at the time of sign-up or at any point throughout your membership. These benefits give your staff direct access to our network, events, resources, and professional development opportunities.

Your institution will gain:

  • Promotion of your humanitarian scholarships in our annual expo
  • Enhanced visibility of your relevant equity initiatives
  • Acknowledgement of your affiliation on the REA website and in the annual 'State of Refugee Education in Australia' report

Your nominated employees will receive:

  • Membership to one REA Communities of Practice, which currently include:
    • People Seeking Asylum Scholarships
    • Careers Guidance and Employability
    • Supporting Students
    • Trauma and refugee-informed teaching and learning
  • Earlybird invitations to networking events
  • 20% discount for nominated staff representatives on REA professional learning activities
  • Access to REA resources

Benefits for your institution
Beyond individual perks, this membership positions your organization at the forefront of a crucial conversation. By becoming an institutional member, you will:

  • Cross-institutional knowledge exchange: Benefit from shared expertise and learning opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date: Stay connected to news about the latest research, policies, and best practices in refugee and asylum seeker education in Australia.
  • Strengthen your networks: Connect with a diverse community of leaders, educators, and organisations who share your commitment to equity.
  • Shape the conversation: Actively participate in influencing policy and driving impactful change for refugees and asylum seekers.

This membership is more than just a subscription; it's an opportunity to collaborate, learn, and lead in a field that matters.
